And that’s a wrap!

The IPM Spring 2022 Speaker Series officially concluded last Wednesday, May 18th, with a lecture given by our own Mylynda Massart, MD, PhD. Dr. Massart’s talk, entitled, “Advances in the Clinical Implementation of Precision Medicine Beyond Oncology:  The Story of the Primary Care Precision Medicine Clinic at UPMC.”

This spring, nearly a hundred visitors tuned in monthly to hear our accomplished Precison Medicine experts speak about their groundbreaking work.  These interdisciplinary talks given by the leading minds in the field brought together a diverse audience of students, faculty, and staff.  It is for that reason that IPM would like to extend a heartfelt thanks not only to the speakers who presented their groundbreaking work, but also everyone who attended.

Most of all, we hope you’re as excited as we are for the Fall 2022 Institute for Precision Medicine Speaker Series, set to start this August.  We are finalizing an exciting lineup of clinicians, scientists, and executives, all of whom are pushing the envelope in the space of Precision Medicine.  We’d like to invite you not only to attend, but to strive to help us further the goals of Precision Medicine inside the Pitt and UPMC ecosystem.  If there’s one thing we’ve seen in every lecture over the past year, it’s that the only way to accomplish anything in Precision Medicine is through the cooperation of everyone involved.

In keeping with best practice, recorded lectures from the Spring 2022 IPM Speaker Series can be found here on the IPM website.
