The Institute for Precision Medicine hosts a monthly virtual speaker series via Zoom to highlight advances in Precision Medicine research and in Personalized care – not only at Pitt/UPMC but across the United States.

The next IPM Fall 2023 speaker series: “Precision inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and Research within Health systems: accelerating research to clinical translation” will be given by Dr. Judy Cho, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Director of The Charles Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine. on October 18, 2023 at 4:00pm EST via Zoom.

Dr. Judy Cho is Dean of Translational Genetics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai New York and Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Pathology. Her primary research area is in the genetics and genomics of IBD, with a recent focus on multiomic, single cell platforms. She has served as Principal Investigator of the data coordinating center of the NIDDK IBD Genetics Consortium and is a member of the National Academy of Medicine.
